Rosewood Hotels and Resorts is bringing a new property to Saudi Arabia’s Amaala development in the north-west of the kingdom.

Rosewood Amaala is set to feature 110 guest rooms and suites, as well as 25 Rosewood Residences. The property is being designed by architecture firm, ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, with a focus on preserving the natural flora and fauna surrounding the hotel.

Rosewood Amaala will offer a range of culinary experiences, including fine dining, casual eateries, and club lounges. The property’s wellness offering, the Asaya Spa, will feature private treatment pavilions, and guests can expect a level of privacy and exclusivity often found in all-villa resorts.

The Amaala destination is a regenerative oasis powered by 100% renewable energy with the aim of having zero carbon footprint and zero waste to landfill. To protect the endangered Hawksbill and Green Turtles that have nesting sites around the beaches of the upcoming Rosewood Amaala hotel, the construction and design have been centered around ensuring the turtle population is left unaffected. The hotel will be surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest reef, and the property will provide two rock pools, allowing guests safe access to the water and sand while also protecting the coral reefs that wrap around the resort.

Rosewood Amaala is part of Red Sea Global’s Amaala destination, an integrated wellness haven. Two other wellness-focused properties have recently been announced for Amaala. Rosewood Amaala joins the brand’s pipeline of projects set to open in the Middle East, including Rosewood Doha (2023), Rosewood Riyadh (2025), and Rosewood Red Sea.
